An adaptation of a Tamil hit, "Bahar" also marked the entry of Madras-based AVM Productions into the Bollywood arena. The film showcases VyjayantimalaÕs dancing ability and classic South Indian beauty. Kishore Kumar and Geeta Dutt sing playback. The film was a big success when it was released.
