This song was pictureized over Rajesh Khanna as he sings to Sharmila Tagore in the super hit "Aradhana". This scene and song, shot in one continuous take is a classic of Bollywood cinema. Some have called it the most erotically charged scene in Hindi film history. In fact it is one of the most incredible, inventive, and artistic scenes in the history of film itself. This was the film that established Rajesh Khanna as a superstar and S.D. Burman's music for the film became anthems for the era. 'Roop Tera Mastana', ÔMere Sapnon Ki RaniÕ, and 'Kora Kagaz Tha Yeh Man Mera' from the film cemented Kishore Kumar as the singing voice of Rajesh Khanna.

This Shiv - Hari written song paired Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar in a duet with flavors of North Indian Folk rhythms. The song was Pictureized by Yash Chopra over Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha in the flower fields of Amsterdam.

This Rajesh Khanna , Asha Parekh romance caused a sensation in it's time because of the on screen chemistry of the two stars. R D BurmanÕs music was another major highlight of the film. Kishore Kumar gave voice to Anand Bakshi's lyrics and the song "Pyar Diwani Hota Hai" became an anthem to romantic love for all time. (In the film "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" this song is sung by Anupam Kher to Rani Mukherjee when he asks her if she is in love with someone.)

These are two R. D. Burman songs from "Amar Prem". Again Kishore Kumar sings for Rajesh Khanna in a Shakti Samanta directed film (Shakti Samanta also directed, "Kati Patang, and "Aradhana"). More about these songs can be found on a separate page that talks about Anand Bakshi and "Amar Prem".
