"Humraaz" was actually one of the better films of the lackluster year that was Bollywood cinema in 2002. It beautifully transposed many of the classic twists and turns of plot of the 1960s and 70s era Bollywood Potboiler Thriller into a new 21st century skin. The film itself is overall, highly amusing and in the best sense of the Bollywood slang, 'pass time'. Which means, light on the brain cells, has beautiful people, puts a smile on your face, a tear on your cheek, and entertains. Although nowhere near a classic "Humraaz" is a classic example of above average, mainstream Bollywood.
