This was a highly hyped, hugely expensive, costume
drama that paired two of the most established superstars of Bollywood, Sridevi
and Amitabh Bachchan. Unfortunately
the film failed to deliver which goes to show (for the umpteenth time) that
BIG does not always mean better. The film failed at the box office but has
found a new life on DVD. Sridevi has a couple of beautiful scenes in the
film like the one pictured above, but overall the grandeur is shallow indeed.
