film industry. Her father was a film director in the 50s and
60s and her older brother is the actor and dance director

"I have no formal training in dance but I have been getting
my dancing lessons from Michael Jackson, Gene Kelly and the
other music greats. I have got my training in choreography
by watching Vijay Anand films. "
She learned MJs moves and started to dance at family functions
and then competitions. From one dance competition she gathered
contestants and started a dance company called, "The
Sphinx". In 1992 she was asked by Mansoor Khan to be
the choreographer of his next film "Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar"
starring Aamir Khan. Farah was on her way and from that point
there was no looking back.
