Soha Ali Khan (born on October 4, 1978 in New Delhi, India) is an Indian actress and the daughter of the Nawab of Pataudi and the actress Sharmila Tagore and sister of actor Saif Ali Khan.
Soha Ali Khanf attended The British School in New Delhi, then followed on to study History at Balliol College, Oxford University and has a Masters in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences.
Before embarking upon her film career, Soha worked for the Ford Foundation and Citibank. Soha Ali Khan is involved in a range of activities outside the acting world, including serving on the Advisory Board for a new project of the public entrepreneur group, Res Publica. She has also recently modeled for the spring-summer collection of Globus, an Indian chain of boutiques.
Soha Ali Khan made her acting debut with the Bollywood production Dil Maange More (2004), where she shared credits with Shahid Kapoor and two other leading ladies(Ayesha Takia and Tulip joshi).She has since received critical acclaim for her performances in the Bengali film Antar Mahal (2005) and Rang De Basanti (2006). Soha Ali Khan's latest release Khoya Khoya Chand (Sudhir Mishra)(2007) though didn't do well at the box office, earned her critical acclaim.
In Khoya Khoya Chand, she is featured in a sex scene with Shiney Ahuja. Soha Ali Khan has also started to show her bare skin in more movies and is showing more and more sex appeal. She has also appeared in bikini with magazines as she seems to be coming out of her innocent shell. But, she looks sexier with her new sex appeal .
Soha Ali Khan was born into the family of nawabs of Pataudi. Her father, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, the current nawab, is a former captain of the Indian cricket team. She know if started acting before accomplishing her academy, then it wouldn't be possible for her to go back to studying. Her parents had the typical normal parental concerns about joining the films. When she was 12, she meant to play the child in Mira Nair's Mississippi Masala and taken two months leave from school also. But couldn't do the film because she had to get braces.
Soha Ali Khan had also worked with Citibank and an NGO to get experience which help her when she finally starts acting. And now she is 3000 percent ready for films. She has appeared on numerous magazine covers, including ELLE, Cosmopolitan, Femina India, FilmFare, Stardust, and CineBlitz..
